In the 11thth minute of the game Egil Alvheygg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troldkær FV's Kresten Bedmar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The mals united fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikolai Grevsby should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mik Krunderup during the 72nd minute. Nikolai Grevsby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troldkær FV. Troldkær FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boje Arai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, mals united's goal looked a bit too open when Boye Kældergaard came free, but Nikolai Grevsby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Simested sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. mals united walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
