Korint's Orla Garsaae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Ferraz in the 15th minute of play. The Hairy Champs's Ejvind Bregnskov suffered a concussion in the 18th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 18 minutes into the game, Teodor Jarlsdorf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korint's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Hairy Champs the free kick. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for The Hairy Champs. Çağrı Akkuş stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Orla Garsaae. 1-0. Orla Garsaae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağrı Akkuş in the 24th minute of the match. Teodor Jarlsdorf kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Korint's Orla Garsaae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Marines in the 29th minute of play. Orla Garsaae was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Emmanuel Marines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Emmanuel Marines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korint's Orla Garsaae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Çağrı Akkuş came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the The Hairy Champs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağrı Akkuş couldn't finish the play. Emmanuel Marines was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. The Hairy Champs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 44 minutes into the game, The Hairy Champs's Çağrı Akkuş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orla Garsaae made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Høving was the one to do the kick off. Orla Garsaae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Marines in the 57th minute of the match. Ronny Høving's late challenge caught a The Hairy Champs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Høving helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Korint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Høving to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Emmanuel Marines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orla Garsaae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dorival Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The The Hairy Champs fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when The Hairy Champs's Emmanuel Marines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emmanuel Marines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Marines in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orla Garsaae saved Korint from getting behind. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korint's goalkeeper Orla Garsaae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Herman Rangland made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Korint's Orla Garsaae tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Orla Garsaae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Marines's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Marines in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orla Garsaae saved Korint from getting behind. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Emmanuel Marines sped through Korint's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orla Garsaae. Emmanuel Marines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orla Garsaae having to interfere. There was no doubt that The Hairy Champs were the better team. The Hairy Champs's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
