Pilehave's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Brydsøe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pilehave's Herman Olavsgaard threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennarth Jonshøi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Brønshøj BC's zone, Mark Brydsøe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Olavsgaard came out of the goal and Mark Brydsøe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timm Hardorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Charley Hendersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pilehave's Charley Hendersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmuth Bruse in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Timm Hardorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charley Hendersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timm Hardorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charley Hendersen having to interfere. Charley Hendersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timm Hardorf in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Pilehave got a freekick which was hit by Erhardt Maidens. 30 minutes into the match, Pilehave's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Bruse came free, but Charley Hendersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erhardt Maidens during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erhardt Maidens kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennarth Jonshøi couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Helmuth Bruse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charley Hendersen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Helmuth Bruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charley Hendersen having to interfere.
