Alberth Liser came out of the goal and Sylvester Justmi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benni Theilsland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Bod in the 7th minute of the match. Benni Theilsland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jørgen Bod's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Benni Theilsland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Gregoriou, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Joacim Gregoriou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benni Theilsland having to make a save. Benni Theilsland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertel Weilsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Joacim Gregoriou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joacim Gregoriou to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberth Liser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvester Justmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joacim Gregoriou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Gregoriou in the 61st minute of play forced FenerbahceSK's goalkeeper Benni Theilsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benni Theilsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Gregoriou in the 65th minute of play. FenerbahceSK's Sylvester Justmi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FenerbahceSK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joacim Gregoriou 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Jørgen Bod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Benni Theilsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Frits Badino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jørgen Bod succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The supporters of Bizzerne booed when FenerbahceSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villy Ganstrøm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benni Theilsland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jørgen Bod went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The FenerbahceSK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bizzerne were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
