A collision led to Michelsen AllStars getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Peter Løvfelt hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjørn Rauchfuss got free with Magnus Stargaard in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederick Frydenholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeppe Rosenhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute Theis Resentvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Stargaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Theis Resentvig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magnus Stargaard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jeppe Rosenhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Frydenholt having to interfere. Axel Fonn kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Jeppe Rosenhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Benstrup AC's Frederick Frydenholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeppe Rosenhart in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Preben Tøttrup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michelsen AllStars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Preben Tøttrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeppe Rosenhart in the 41st minute of play forced Benstrup AC's goalkeeper Frederick Frydenholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Preben Tøttrup was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Michelsen AllStars's zone, Torbjørn Rauchfuss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Stargaard came out of the goal and Torbjørn Rauchfuss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Dyja charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Dyja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benstrup AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Michelsen AllStars's Tommy Frisenvold got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Frederick Frydenholt. If Jeppe Rosenhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Preben Tøttrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preben Tøttrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeppe Rosenhart had several of the Benstrup AC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Frederick Frydenholt as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Michelsen AllStars eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
