Frede Hingdrup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Skovsø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Janich Løvetofte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Randers Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Janich Løvetofte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Skovsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frede Hingdrup in the 61st minute of the match. If Matthias Børregaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Randers Fc's Vladimir Hogrefe got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Matthias Børregaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlo Kiddegaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirch Jespersgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match was over Randers Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chelsea Football Club throughout the match.
