Thorbjørn Skånvad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Sune having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Thorbjørn Skånvad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohamed Sune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janick Mathisson in the 7th minute of play. If Thorbjørn Skånvad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Carsten Korth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Thorbjørn Skånvad came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Alstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorbjørn Skånvad couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carsten Korth got free with Jakob Kiilblad in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurits Sozzi in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakob Kiilblad saved Alstrup from getting behind. Mattæus Ranners kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Mohamed Sune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janick Mathisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorbjørn Skånvad took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed Sune. Mohamed Sune dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jakob Kiilblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurits Sozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Pablo Heltbroe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakob Kiilblad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Lommelev SIK got a freekick which was hit by Asger Sandsberg. Mohamed Sune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janick Mathisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurits Sozzi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lommelev SIK booed when Alstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Teilfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Janick Mathisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janick Mathisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Thorbjørn Skånvad in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Janick Mathisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Sune having to interfere. Thorbjørn Skånvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alstrup's goalkeeper Jakob Kiilblad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carsten Korth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lommelev SIK's zone, Thorbjørn Skånvad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Sune came out of the goal and Thorbjørn Skånvad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Sune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janick Mathisson in the 94th minute of play. Thorbjørn Skånvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alstrup's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
