The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egil Weel made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Asker Karmsteen sent off a good shot on target. Leopold Barsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Raltoft having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Hassan Mosbæk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fjelstrup SIK's Leo Kirck got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Raltoft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Hammerman in the 15th minute of play. Rene Polde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Weel having to interfere. Leo Kirck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Egil Weel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Viderup's Egil Weel got control of the ball when Asker Karmsteen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fjelstrup SIK's Leo Kirck was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Viderup's Egil Weel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Viderup from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Leopold Barsing notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fjelstrup SIK's Richard Raltoft. Richard Raltoft was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes, Vilhelm Nelvad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fjelstrup SIK and the Viderup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilhelm Nelvad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Richard Raltoft showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Hammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Richard Raltoft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Hammerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kris Hammerman was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Thorlejf Uslu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viderup and the Fjelstrup SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Viderup's Thorlejf Uslu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fjelstrup SIK's Leo Kirck got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kris Hammerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63rd play minutes Leo Kirck shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Egil Weel and just under the crossbar into goal. Asker Karmsteen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Weel having to interfere. Egil Weel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Kirck, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute Kris Hammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Raltoft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asker Karmsteen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Weel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asker Karmsteen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asker Karmsteen in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Weel saved Viderup from getting behind. Asker Karmsteen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Viderup's zone, Leo Kirck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Weel came out of the goal and Leo Kirck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asker Karmsteen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Weel having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asker Karmsteen in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Weel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
