In the 17th match minute, Vadum AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Sebøll to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Kurd Werian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vadum AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurd Werian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vadum AC's zone, Taus Ebner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregers Elvigen came out of the goal and Taus Ebner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Taus Ebner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gregers Elvigen. Taus Ebner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taus Ebner in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregers Elvigen saved Vadum AC from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Vadum AC's goalkeeper Gregers Elvigen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Becher. 36 minutes into the match, Vadum AC's goal looked a bit too open when Taus Ebner came free, but Gregers Elvigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taus Ebner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gregers Elvigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Becher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gregers Elvigen made a huge save. Jimmi Camillus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Gludsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Brabrand's zone, Kurd Werian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmi Camillus came out of the goal and Kurd Werian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Taus Ebner made the kick off in the second half. Calle Sebøll's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jimmi Camillus firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Becher in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregers Elvigen saved Vadum AC from getting behind. Kurd Werian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jimmi Camillus made a huge save. Calle Sebøll's late challenge caught a Brabrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calle Sebøll helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vadum AC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Calle Sebøll hit a great ball. Gregers Elvigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taus Ebner in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurd Werian got free with Jimmi Camillus in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
