An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Brinn in the 12th minute of play forced AC Hovedgaard's goalkeeper Gynther Hofwander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vesterby AC's Sigvart Krautwald got control of the ball when 杨朋明 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 杨朋明 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvart Krautwald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Pallisbo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, AC Hovedgaard's Elmar Pallisbo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Elmar Pallisbo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sigvart Krautwald saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of AC Hovedgaard booed when Vesterby AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauritz Grotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elmar Pallisbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sigvart Krautwald made an important save on a dangerous shot by 杨朋明 in the 30th minute. When Elmar Pallisbo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the AC Hovedgaard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmar Pallisbo couldn't finish the play. 杨朋明 struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sigvart Krautwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Pallisbo in the 37th minute of play. 杨朋明 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvart Krautwald having to interfere. Elmar Pallisbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Beknow to make the kick off. 杨朋明 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vesterby AC's Sigurd Blonding got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 89th minute Kai Hjørland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gynther Hofwander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Vesterby AC's Patrik Beknow ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gynther Hofwander. Gynther Hofwander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vesterby AC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
