Gjedser's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Starreklinte getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ronni Falksaa hit a great ball. Egon Kernfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gjedser fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 21stth minute of the game Oliver Molvig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gjedser's Fabian Alava was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arnfred Fyrstenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tøger Tvermose stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jokum Nordenfelt's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Starreklinte's zone, Jokum Nordenfelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tøger Tvermose came out of the goal and Jokum Nordenfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Starreklinte getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sune Danam hit a great ball. Micki Rafaelsen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Arnfred Fyrstenborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tøger Tvermose having to interfere. A collision led to Starreklinte getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Egon Kernfelt hit a great ball. The Gjedser players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Starreklinte were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egon Kernfelt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Alava made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Molvig in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Ejnar Kirketerp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes in the game, Oliver Molvig fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabian Alava having to interfere. With his leg Fabian Alava managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Starreklinte's Oliver Molvig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Starreklinte's Egon Kernfelt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabian Alava. After 74 played minutes Gjedser got a freekick which was hit by Wagn Barham. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Oliver Molvig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Starreklinte's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Molvig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Alava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Alava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Kernfelt in the 89th minute of the match. Arnfred Fyrstenborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tøger Tvermose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Starreklinte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Starreklinte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
