After a rather tough play, Hårslev SIK's Kris Weltner got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Jess Keittelmann came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Hylleholt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jess Keittelmann couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, Hårslev SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Usø to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Hårslev SIK got a freekick which was hit by Egon Jægerholt. With an all-out effort, Hylleholt's Frederick Unmack threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karim Blauendorf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Blauendorf to make the kick off. Ferdinand Glyngby ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Hårslev SIK booed when Hylleholt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Sigdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carsten Jarving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Blauendorf in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Unmack saved Hårslev SIK from getting behind.
