Tobias Løvholt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolaus Kvalvig hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes Bøl AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mads Terpling who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fc Buhl's Mads Terpling to fire away a dangerous shot which Jim Lendager despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute Einer Montal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Lendager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Ejnar Skjoldberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Sigvard Bjørrild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Einer Montal to strike the kick off in the second half. Ejnar Skjoldberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertrand Sutez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ejnar Skjoldberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertrand Sutez having to make a save. Sigvard Bjørrild's late challenge caught a Fc Buhl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
