After a rather tough play, Fc Buhl's Einar Borgardal got a free kick in the 6th minute. Nicolaj Antonsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertrand Sutez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouritz Gjerris in the 9th minute of play. Nicholas Theger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Freddie Gerdsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einer Montal during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Einer Montal kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, løverne's goal looked a bit too open when Einer Montal came free, but Freddie Gerdsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Vibech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Ken Eskegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. løverne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Eskegaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicholas Theger hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With his leg Bertrand Sutez managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when løverne's Ken Eskegaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boris Vibech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bertrand Sutez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrand Sutez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ken Eskegaard in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Flemming Bønni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The løverne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Einer Montal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ken Eskegaard scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertrand Sutez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Ken Eskegaard notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fc Buhl's Bertrand Sutez. Bertrand Sutez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Ken Eskegaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Sutez. Fc Buhl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ken Eskegaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Ken Eskegaard came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the løverne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ken Eskegaard couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Githmark during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fc Buhl getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Andy Githmark hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Eskegaard in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertrand Sutez saved Fc Buhl from getting behind. Ken Eskegaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Sutez having to interfere. Fc Buhl's Andy Githmark got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Andy Githmark off the ground. In the 81st minute, Andy Githmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ken Eskegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Eskegaard struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bertrand Sutez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for løverne. løverne walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
