Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ditlef Hecht made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gerner Nathan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nissum's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerner Nathan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrich Michalow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Borup's zone, Kennet Pladsbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulrich Michalow came out of the goal and Kennet Pladsbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Visti Bregendorf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niclas Wedele went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ditlef Hecht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Visti Bregendorf having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Nissum's goal looked a bit too open when Ditlef Hecht came free, but Visti Bregendorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Calli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Visti Bregendorf having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Godtfred Kloppenborg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nissum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borup the free kick. After 44 played minutes Nissum got a freekick which was hit by Godtfred Kloppenborg. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nissum's goalkeeper Visti Bregendorf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Visti Bregendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ditlef Hecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Pladsbjerg to make the kick off. With a little luck, Borup's Ulrich Michalow got control of the ball when Gerner Nathan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nissum's Gerner Nathan, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Nissum. The Borup fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nissum had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
