Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kresten Laderriere got the match started through his kick off. Rico Letfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Thorkil Schutten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kresten Laderriere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorkil Schutten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kresten Laderriere, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The attack was good, but when Kresten Laderriere in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thorkil Schutten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Letfeldt in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kresten Laderriere in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thorkil Schutten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rico Letfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Thorkil Schutten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Rindebæk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Berkeland to maneuver through the defense. Rico Letfeldt took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thorkil Schutten. Thorkil Schutten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Holstebro FC's Rico Letfeldt, in the 29th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Holstebro FC. Thorkil Schutten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kresten Laderriere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rico Letfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Thorkil Schutten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kresten Laderriere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Holstebro FC's Rico Letfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorkil Schutten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Therkil Brabæk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rindebæk and the Holstebro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rindebæk getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Therkil Brabæk hit a great ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rindebæk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emmanuel Svanhof was slow to take the kick. During this time Holstebro FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emmanuel Svanhof almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rindebæk's Thorkil Schutten did a great save. In the 45th minute, Kresten Laderriere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorkil Schutten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Holstebro FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Therkil Brabæk made a kick off. Paw Berrum charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paw Berrum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rindebæk! In the 64th minute, Rico Letfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kresten Laderriere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Thorkil Schutten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Kresten Laderriere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rico Letfeldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Thorkil Schutten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rico Letfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorkil Schutten having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Rico Letfeldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Thorkil Schutten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steffen Mormann during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Holstebro FC got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Mormann. Thorkil Schutten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kresten Laderriere, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
