The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Vognstrup got a freekick which was hit by Aksel Farber. Karsten Lyneborg's late challenge caught a Vognstrup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Lyneborg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Team Eilite FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Karsten Lyneborg hit a great ball. Rubert Steengaard made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Eyvin Hemmersam sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Vognstrup's Jannich Besekow got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Eyvin Hemmersam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Valentin Breden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Eilite FC's Rubert Steengaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenni Munther showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reiner Havnø, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Valentin Breden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Valentin Breden lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rubert Steengaard. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Breden made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Valentin Breden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vognstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Breden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubert Steengaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Breden in the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eyvin Hemmersam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubert Steengaard was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Team Eilite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Breden came free, but Rubert Steengaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Dirk Stenager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubert Steengaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Breden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Eyvin Hemmersam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Reiner Havnø recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenni Munther. Reiner Havnø showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, Vognstrup's Kenni Munther got control of the ball when Reiner Havnø tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Vognstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Reiner Havnø came free, but Kenni Munther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Eyvin Hemmersam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
