Nova Scotia Tigers's Eli Graschitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Ceper in the 14th minute of play. Søren Grusgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 played minutes Tagholm got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Coplan. Jochum Aarrelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Søren Grusgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jochum Aarrelund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Arata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Alan Gildsig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Scotia Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Gildsig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ebbe Leoni to make the kick off. The referee ignored Tagholm's protests and gave Uwe Saksenborg a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Søren Grusgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Scotia Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Søren Grusgaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jochum Aarrelund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nova Scotia Tigers fully deserved thier win.
