The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Skern AC's goal looked a bit too open when Loke Wagner came free, but Mortimer Armbjørnsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Trollegaard in the 6th minute of play forced Skern AC's goalkeeper Mortimer Armbjørnsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Ewald Halsaa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Storevorde FC's Paul Jarring got control of the ball when Ricky Bodenskjold tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Isak Dolmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Tegllund hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Storevorde FC's Paul Jarring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Storevorde FC from getting a goal against them. After 33 played minutes Storevorde FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Brandholt. A sloppy throw-in by Günther Ranle in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skern AC's Mouritz Lord. Ricky Bodenskjold scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Jarring, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Storevorde FC's Paul Jarring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Storevorde FC from getting a goal against them. Ricky Bodenskjold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paul Jarring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jan Trollegaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mortimer Armbjørnsen having to make a save. Sigvald Granly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Jarring having to interfere. Paul Jarring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewald Halsaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Jarring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Bodenskjold in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ricky Bodenskjold put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paul Jarring. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skern AC fully deserved thier win.
