The Gåsetofte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Miklos Parsdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Martos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Firgårde's zone, Silas Bounde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miklos Parsdal came out of the goal and Silas Bounde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severin Viskær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severin Viskær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Christenskiold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Martos struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Miklos Parsdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gåsetofte. Silas Bounde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Miklos Parsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Gåsetofte's goalkeeper John Rimme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severin Viskær. Miklos Parsdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Martos's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Silas Bounde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gåsetofte's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Bounde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklos Parsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Firgårde's Gunnar Brunnemann got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severin Viskær got free with John Rimme in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Niclas Martos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Bounde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklos Parsdal having to interfere. Firgårde's Miklos Parsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Heholt in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Gåsetofte were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niclas Martos to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Niclas Martos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklos Parsdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Niclas Martos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silas Bounde came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Gåsetofte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Bounde couldn't finish the play. The Gåsetofte fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Gåsetofte's Niclas Martos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 65th minute Ricky Lindenskjold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Rimme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hans Hofby fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gåsetofte's protests and gave Hans Hofby a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Gåsetofte got a freekick which was hit by Hans Hofby. Severin Viskær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. John Rimme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Silas Toftbøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Rimme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ricky Lindenskjold fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firgårde's protests and gave Ricky Lindenskjold a yellow card for diving instead. Ricky Lindenskjold kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimi Lonning in the 79th minute of play forced Gåsetofte's goalkeeper John Rimme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Rimme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Toftbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Firgårde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silas Bounde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Gåsetofte's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Lindenskjold came free, but John Rimme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Rimme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
