Silas Toftbøl hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Lumsaas's goal looked a bit too open when Jimi Lonning came free, but Paul Berregaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lumsaas's goalkeeper Paul Berregaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Jimi Lonning made a precise shot to the right of Paul Berregaard. Lumsaas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 26 minutes, Ralf Køjlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lumsaas and the Firgårde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Berregaard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severin Viskær went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lumsaas's Paul Berregaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimi Lonning in the 38th minute of play. Severin Viskær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lumsaas's Ralf Køjlund got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Ralf Køjlund off the ground. In the 47th minute, Ralf Køjlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Firgårde were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimi Lonning made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Firgårde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Lindenskjold to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Firgårde getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Silas Toftbøl hit a great ball. If Jimi Lonning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Berregaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimi Lonning, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Paul Berregaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Lonning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jimi Lonning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Berregaard was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
