Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bøje Gerndahl took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes FC København got a freekick which was hit by Hansmorten Brokholm. In the 5th minute Virgil Sandahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Hedesgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bøje Gerndahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bøje Gerndahl in the 9th minute of play forced Brunmose's goalkeeper Kay Roeds to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Augustinus Thorfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC København fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustinus Thorfeldt couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of FC København:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brunmose:s goal. Walter Hedesgaard went to the wrong direction when Leif Voldborg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Brunmose's Virgil Sandahl got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Brunmose's goal looked a bit too open when Bøje Gerndahl came free, but Kay Roeds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kay Roeds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bøje Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Augustinus Thorfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Roeds having to interfere. A collision led to Brunmose getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Halvor Sigurd hit a great ball. Tobias Frang kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, George Baunkjær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bøje Gerndahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kay Roeds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustinus Thorfeldt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. FC København's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Virgil Sandahl hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 41 minutes, George Baunkjær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunmose's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Baunkjær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bøje Gerndahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bøje Gerndahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Roeds having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgil Sandahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bøje Gerndahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes FC København got a freekick which was hit by Hansmorten Brokholm. In the 59th minute, George Baunkjær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Brunmose's goal looked a bit too open when Bøje Gerndahl came free, but Kay Roeds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bøje Gerndahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kay Roeds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bøje Gerndahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustinus Thorfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Roeds. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustinus Thorfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Kay Roeds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bøje Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Bøje Gerndahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Augustinus Thorfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC København fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tobias Frang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kay Roeds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kay Roeds stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bøje Gerndahl's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Halvor Sigurd hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Augustinus Thorfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kay Roeds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bøje Gerndahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Bøje Gerndahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC København's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bøje Gerndahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that FC København were the better team. FC København's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
