Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) In the 3rd minute Asgar Burklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Bringeby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Bringeby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asgar Burklund in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Asgar Burklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fumlerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Asgar Burklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Piotr Bringeby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asgar Burklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asgar Burklund struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Piotr Bringeby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fumlerne. After 17 played minutes Fumlerne got a freekick which was hit by Torleif Wilhelmsen. In the 20th minute, Gynther Nebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aksel Kiaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Reese having to interfere. In the last second Piotr Bringeby throw himself and got hold of the ball when Asgar Burklund in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Patrik Haarbæk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Bringeby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Nyborg's goalkeeper Piotr Bringeby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Haarbæk. In the 34th match minute, Nyborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vagner Tauling to maneuver through the defense. Nyborg's Piotr Bringeby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asgar Burklund in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torleif Wilhelmsen in the 39th minute of play forced Nyborg's goalkeeper Piotr Bringeby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Gynther Nebo made the kick off in the second half. Piotr Bringeby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asgar Burklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Knutensø during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, one of Fumlerne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fumlerne. The goalkeeper, Stephen Reese, was totally fooled by Nyborg's Frederick Wexøe, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Nyborg booed when Fumlerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thue Boving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephen Reese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gynther Nebo in the 65th minute of play. Nyborg's Aksel Kiaby got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Patrik Haarbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fumlerne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Haarbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gynther Nebo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephen Reese. Stephen Reese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Elmar Hardysø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gynther Nebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stephen Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fumlerne fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Fumlerne's Asgar Burklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aksel Kiaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Reese having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Fumlerne got a freekick which was hit by Torleif Wilhelmsen. Asgar Burklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Piotr Bringeby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gynther Nebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Reese having to interfere. Asgar Burklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
