Ricki Nyklit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didrik Cipurdejev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Piet Prip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Piet Prip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricki Nyklit was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ricki Nyklit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piet Prip's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Høvelte AC's goal looked a bit too open when Piet Prip came free, but Ricki Nyklit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piet Prip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricki Nyklit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhardt Strandholt in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Didrik Cipurdejev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skadebak's supporters rose to their feet, but Didrik Cipurdejev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricki Nyklit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asgar Solbirk in the 24th minute of play forced Høvelte AC's goalkeeper Ricki Nyklit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Høvelte AC's Ricki Nyklit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piet Prip in the 25th minute of play. Eberhardt Strandholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricki Nyklit having to interfere. Piet Prip might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricki Nyklit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piet Prip ran back to his position shaking his head. When Skadebak's Piet Prip in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Høvelte AC's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Høvelte AC got a freekick which was hit by Jens Jacuer. In the 36th minute, Eberhardt Strandholt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skadebak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Høvelte AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skadebak were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Eberhardt Strandholt made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Eberhardt Strandholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricki Nyklit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piet Prip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eberhardt Strandholt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Eberhardt Strandholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricki Nyklit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thor Ortvig kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Høvelte AC's Ricki Nyklit got control of the ball when Piet Prip tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricki Nyklit made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Piet Prip sent off a good shot on target. If Eberhardt Strandholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Piet Prip had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricki Nyklit. Høvelte AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piet Prip was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Piet Prip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricki Nyklit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eberhardt Strandholt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 86 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhardt Strandholt in the 90th minute of play forced Høvelte AC's goalkeeper Ricki Nyklit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Høvelte AC's Ricki Nyklit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhardt Strandholt in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Asgar Solbirk made a precise shot to the right of Ricki Nyklit. Høvelte AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Skadebak played a much better game than Høvelte AC and deserved their victory. The Høvelte AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
