The supporters of Kæderup FV booed when FC Hvidovre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svenaage Munksholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulrik Tønnesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karljohan Norvin in the 44th minute of the match. Ulrik Tønnesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åge Fernandez in the 45th minute of play.

In the 55th minute Karljohan Norvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Tønnesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kæderup FV's goalkeeper Ulrik Tønnesen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åge Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halfdan Fejring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Lindedam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Frantz Dastrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karljohan Norvin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Hvidovre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karljohan Norvin couldn't finish the play. If Åge Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, FC Hvidovre's Åge Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulrik Tønnesen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Karljohan Norvin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Hvidovre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
