Jasper Thræn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunner Palsdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jacob Lexow fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kårup SIK's protests and gave Jacob Lexow a yellow card for diving instead. The Kårup SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terkild Draminsky should have stopped the shot. Terkild Draminsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gynter Kobstrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Sichel in the 94th minute of play forced Kårup SIK's goalkeeper Terkild Draminsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
