The tension between the Eagles FC and the Kjobenhavn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kjobenhavn booed when Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Gyldner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haakon Holmbøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Andre Meisen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haakon Holmbøl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andre Meisen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Kjobenhavn got a freekick which was hit by Lars Barlem. Andre Meisen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kjobenhavn's goalkeeper Andre Meisen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Kjobenhavn's Hans Brinksager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulrick Siglev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Brinksager in the 24th minute of play forced Eagles FC's goalkeeper Ulrick Siglev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haakon Holmbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Morten Neldahl really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 46 minutes into the game, Haakon Holmbøl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andre Meisen. Haakon Holmbøl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tage Foverskov to make the kick off. In the 69th minute, Morten Neldahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Morten Neldahl made a precise shot to the right of Andre Meisen. Kjobenhavn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Aksel Robinson struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Andre Meisen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eagles FC. If Haakon Holmbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eagles FC had played much better football throughout.
