The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sigfrid Lagrolet struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gunvald Harsel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Thorvald Kernholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magpies FC and the Ullerup SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magpies FC's Gunvald Harsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathæus Boserup in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mathæus Boserup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mathæus Boserup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunvald Harsel having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Ullerup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Schiermer came free, but Adolf Wirring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Aabybro's late challenge caught a Magpies FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Aabybro helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Ullerup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Aabybro. If Svend Schiermer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Mathæus Boserup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gunvald Harsel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathæus Boserup to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunvald Harsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathæus Boserup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rico Rusom came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ullerup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rico Rusom couldn't finish the play. Kevin Aabybro got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zacharias Tjørnfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rico Rusom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gunvald Harsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mathæus Boserup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svend Schiermer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ullerup SIK's zone, Svend Schiermer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolf Wirring came out of the goal and Svend Schiermer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svend Schiermer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Wirring having to interfere. If Rico Rusom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rico Rusom took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunvald Harsel. Gunvald Harsel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Svend Schiermer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
