Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Sønderød's Knut Ischiel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Folmer Codam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeus Stubsgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valby's Kristofer Brinkbæk in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sønderød's goalie prevented a goal. Sønderød's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kristofer Brinkbæk 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Sylvester Svensgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Helmuth Strøyberg in the 18th minute really tested Morten Pretzer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Valby booed when Sønderød was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Svensgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Bøgestrand placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 29 minutes of play, Sønderød's Folmer Codam made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeus Stubsgaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Knut Ischiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amadeus Stubsgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valby's Amadeus Stubsgaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folmer Codam in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Ischiel in the 40th minute of play forced Valby's goalkeeper Amadeus Stubsgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Halvor Hornil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Valby's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Ischiel came free, but Amadeus Stubsgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristofer Brinkbæk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morten Pretzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvor Hornil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 65th minute, Sylvester Svensgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Halvor Hornil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Morten Pretzer came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Valby's Kristofer Brinkbæk. But to his dismay, Kristofer Brinkbæk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Knut Ischiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeus Stubsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folmer Codam in the 75th minute of the match. Folmer Codam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Amadeus Stubsgaard made a huge save. Tage Harny hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Morten Pretzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Harny in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Folmer Codam fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Knut Ischiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Folmer Codam came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sønderød fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folmer Codam couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Ischiel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeus Stubsgaard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valby's Kristofer Brinkbæk got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Folmer Codam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeus Stubsgaard. Valby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Folmer Codam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Valby succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sønderød had controlled the match.
