The referee ignored FC Rindby Strand's protests and gave Gerner Taylor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, FC Rindby Strand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerner Taylor to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Djaq Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roar Waseen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Djaq Utd's Sigmund Hoff got control of the ball when Marcus Khardine tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rindby Strand's zone, Benjamin Sørresiig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerhardt Bønvad came out of the goal and Benjamin Sørresiig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigmund Hoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Steines, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Djaq Utd's Steffen Kjærsig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerhardt Bønvad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Ørbech struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gerhardt Bønvad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djaq Utd. After some careless play in the FC Rindby Strand defense, Benjamin Sørresiig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerhardt Bønvad. The FC Rindby Strand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerhardt Bønvad should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Khardine got free with Sigmund Hoff in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rikard Steines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Ørbech kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerhardt Bønvad. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Steffen Kjærsig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Ørbech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhardt Bønvad having to interfere. Sigmund Hoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Khardine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Djaq Utd getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hauge Rossdahl hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Sørresiig made a precise shot to the right of Gerhardt Bønvad. FC Rindby Strand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Rindby Strand's goalkeeper Gerhardt Bønvad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Benjamin Sørresiig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Rindby Strand's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Ørbech 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. The FC Rindby Strand fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Djaq Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
