Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thorlejf Sundenæs got the match started through his kick off. If Augustus Stucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Laibjørn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folmar Horka. Egernsund's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Folmar Horka came out of the goal and Augustus Stucke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigmund Lykkeris kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Ørbæk's Bjarke Højbøl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Folmar Horka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ørbæk reached it. 27 minutes into the match, Egernsund's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Halsager came free, but Folmar Horka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Egernsund's Sepp Konkel got a free kick in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Ørbæk's Bjarke Højbøl broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Steffen Guldbrandtsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Guldbrandtsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steffen Guldbrandtsen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Nicolai Belby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ørbæk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egernsund the free kick. The supporters of Ørbæk booed when Egernsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Helvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Egernsund's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Steffen Guldbrandtsen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vagn Hesselby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorlejf Sundenæs went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 71 minutes, Steffen Guldbrandtsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ørbæk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Guldbrandtsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Ørbæk's goal looked a bit too open when Sigmund Lykkeris came free, but Vagn Hesselby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Ørbæk's Edgar Halsager made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folmar Horka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vagn Hesselby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorlejf Sundenæs in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Ørbæk getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Augustus Stucke hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ørbæk's goal looked a bit too open when Thorlejf Sundenæs came free, but Vagn Hesselby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigmund Lykkeris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vagn Hesselby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolai Belby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folmar Horka having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Egernsund's Svenaage Smerup got a free kick in the 87th minute. Folmar Horka stood somewhat misplaced when Steffen Guldbrandtsen came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Vagn Hesselby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Jarlgaard in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Steffen Guldbrandtsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ørbæk's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Guldbrandtsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folmar Horka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Steffen Guldbrandtsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ørbæk's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Guldbrandtsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folmar Horka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ørbæk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
