Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heino Sundenæs got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Velling booed when Egernsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Selvejer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Heino Sundenæs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heino Sundenæs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Velling's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Thorlejf Sundenæs scored to the left of an out of position Tim Thornit, making the score, 1-1. Henry Strandaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folmar Horka having to interfere. Tim Thornit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorlejf Sundenæs in the 31st minute of the match. If Heino Sundenæs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folmar Horka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Strandaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velling's Tim Thornit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorlejf Sundenæs in the 46th minute of play. The referee ignored Velling's protests and gave Cornelius Vogelius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Velling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelius Vogelius to maneuver through the defense. The Egernsund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velling were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorlejf Sundenæs to make the kick off. Folmar Horka made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Henry Strandaa sent off a good shot on target. Henry Strandaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Egernsund's Sigmund Lykkeris got a free kick in the 69th minute. Egernsund's Folmar Horka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Egernsund from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes Velling got a freekick which was hit by Ian Skjoldnæs. After recieving a nice pass, Egernsund's Anthon Frøde tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Heino Sundenæs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Folmar Horka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigmund Lykkeris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velling had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
