The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ewald Uldaler got free with Piotr Sieben in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ewald Uldaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathæus Ketsinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Liepke having to interfere. Vikingelort Boldklub's Martin Brøcher got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vikingelort Boldklub getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Viktor Stapris hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Robin Plugge fired a really elegant long shot, but Piotr Sieben threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Mathæus Ketsinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathæus Ketsinger in the 25th minute of play forced Østerballe's goalkeeper Kay Liepke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Vikingelort Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Kikan came free, but Piotr Sieben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Brusholt during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Østerballe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Brusholt to maneuver through the defense. Martin Brøcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tristan Kikan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Østerballe's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Kikan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Sieben breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Ewald Uldaler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ewald Uldaler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Piotr Sieben made a huge save. Tristan Kikan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the match, Jonathan Brusholt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Piotr Sieben saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Mathæus Ketsinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathæus Ketsinger was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tristan Kikan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Sieben. Vikingelort Boldklub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Kikan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathæus Ketsinger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kay Liepke. That made the score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Ewald Uldaler made a precise shot to the right of Piotr Sieben. Vikingelort Boldklub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Østerballe's Tristan Kikan in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingelort Boldklub's goalie prevented a goal. Ewald Uldaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vikingelort Boldklub getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Muhammad Lerkevang hit a great ball. Tristan Kikan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ewald Uldaler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Piotr Sieben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ewald Uldaler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Brøcher took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kay Liepke. Kay Liepke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 86 minutes, Ewald Uldaler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Østerballe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ewald Uldaler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Jim Gistrup was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikingelort Boldklub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Østerballe the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Vikingelort Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Gistrup to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Viktor Stapris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Plugge shot a long shot in the 98th minute and a light blocked Piotr Sieben hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
