Placido Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boje Barkeflo in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Køge Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Asmus Sjølin. Asmus Sjølin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Roald Schleimann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Køge Boldklub. Henry Logan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roald Schleimann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Køge Boldklub's Placido Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Dyrsted in the 35th minute of play. Børge Fanum charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Børge Fanum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes in the game Asmus Sjølin after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Roald Schleimann. A very good opportunity. Herluf Janstrøm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Roald Schleimann when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

In the 53rd match minute, Køge Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Kiby to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Ormstrup SIK's Kristoffer Slebsagger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The throw-in from Valentin Klose in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Køge Boldklub's Adam Angeldrup. 73 minutes into the match, Køge Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Palskov came free, but Placido Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herluf Janstrøm in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roald Schleimann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ormstrup SIK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Boje Barkeflo hit a great ball. Herluf Janstrøm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
