An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Balling in the 9th minute of play forced Sken's goalkeeper Roger Obe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Sken's goal looked a bit too open when Krestoffer Ravnbak came free, but Roger Obe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Obe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laus Fellov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Torleif Helmersgaard made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Roar Kirsteinsgaard sent off a good shot on target. When Laus Fellov fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kærende's protests and gave Laus Fellov a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Kærende got a freekick which was hit by Laus Fellov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curt Birkekvist during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Kærende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curt Birkekvist to maneuver through the defense. Roger Obe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Balling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregor Berrhili was the one to do the kick off. Roger Obe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krestoffer Ravnbak in the 62nd minute of the match. Leo Brandmose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Roger Obe made a huge save. A collision led to Sken getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bilbo Paris hit a great ball. Roger Obe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Balling in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute Krestoffer Ravnbak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Obe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Berrhili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Torleif Helmersgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Obe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Brandmose in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Sken's Roger Obe got control of the ball when Leo Brandmose tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sken's Jannick Meclenborg got a free kick in the 95th minute.
