When Ove Hønning came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Hønning couldn't finish the play. Ove Hønning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Jon Hutters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erritsø FC's Troels Løhde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Erritsø FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Moses Brest hit a great ball. Freddie Borglind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Sanding in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jon Hutters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Troels Løhde was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Meulengracht. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Sanding in the 39th managed to get into a good position. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jon Hutters made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Mattæus Nienstadt threw the ball into play from the sideline. galatasaray SK's Ove Hønning quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erritsø FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Hutters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee ended the match the galatasaray SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
