Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ralph Selmar started the match with the kick off. Bernhardt Hendrich charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernhardt Hendrich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Söbjærg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Engelstrup FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sylvester Petræus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Söbjærg's Nikolai Fangløv. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Heino Vingaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolai Fangløv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Vincent Wienziers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolai Fangløv. Söbjærg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Wienziers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 19th minute Heino Vingaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolai Fangløv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heino Vingaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Söbjærg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmi Irby to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Sylvester Petræus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Söbjærg's Nikolai Fangløv didn't even have to move. Heino Vingaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolai Fangløv having to interfere. If Ralph Selmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heino Vingaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikolai Fangløv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heino Vingaa in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Vincent Wienziers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolai Fangløv was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Engelstrup FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Vingaa in the 52nd minute of play forced Söbjærg's goalkeeper Nikolai Fangløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Söbjærg's Kield Lagfoss in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Engelstrup FC's goalie prevented a goal. Heino Vingaa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Nikolai Fangløv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engelstrup FC. Vincent Wienziers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Nikolai Fangløv made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Engelstrup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Selmar came free, but Svend Aspe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Engelstrup FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vincent Wienziers hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Heino Vingaa rounded Söbjærg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. After 78 played minutes Engelstrup FC got a freekick which was hit by Timmi Issum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kield Lagfoss in the 79th minute of play forced Engelstrup FC's goalkeeper Svend Aspe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vincent Wienziers came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Engelstrup FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Wienziers couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Söbjærg got a freekick which was hit by Frands Frastein. Sylvester Petræus, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Söbjærg's goal looked a bit too open when Heino Vingaa came free, but Nikolai Fangløv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Engelstrup FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
