The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinzent Sams during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altair Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Glinvadhede SIK a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Palle Piepenbrinck, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Altair Utd's Olfert Angina. 1-1. In the 22nd minute Tommy Valstorp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olfert Angina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eddy Nørrehvedde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rudi Velbak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorius Nykyri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannich Helinder having to interfere. Glinvadhede SIK's Tommy Valstorp got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddy Nørrehvedde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jannich Helinder made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gregorius Nykyri sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute of the match, Gregorius Nykyri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jannich Helinder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Valstorp to make the kick off. Glinvadhede SIK's Jannich Helinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Velbak in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Glinvadhede SIK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aage Skadhede hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Vinzent Sams sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Glinvadhede SIK's Jannich Helinder didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Altair Utd's Kornelius Ramlyng got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Tommy Valstorp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glinvadhede SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Valstorp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudi Velbak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannich Helinder having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Gregorius Nykyri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altair Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorius Nykyri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Altair Utd's Olfert Angina got control of the ball when Eddy Nørrehvedde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Altair Utd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Glinvadhede SIK for a fine match.
