After 13 minutes, Sigurd Menge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykobing FC and the Lumbsaas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sigurd Menge hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Daniel Struski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jimmy Lokjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Sultan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Lokjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Lumbsaas FC's Daniel Struski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lavrits Sarquah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Bobby Oksfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Høydal in the 30th minute of play forced Lumbsaas FC's goalkeeper Denis Sultan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nykobing FC's Lavrits Sarquah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Oksfeldt in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balthasar Beckman during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oliver Høydal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Denis Sultan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Lokjær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Oliver Høydal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Denis Sultan 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Nykobing FC's Jimmy Lokjær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Sultan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kris Ayzma charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Oliver Høydal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Nykobing FC. Samson Masang stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Sultan. 0-2. Jimmy Lokjær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Denis Sultan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Struski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lumbsaas FC's Balthasar Beckman got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Balthasar Beckman off the ground. Balthasar Beckman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Denis Sultan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Høydal, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Høydal in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Sultan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Nykobing FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nykobing FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
