The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erhard Porsbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vagnar Hoborg was a little too slow when Walder Nissum got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Walder Nissum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vagnar Hoborg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Træden FV's Vagnar Hoborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walder Nissum in the 22nd minute of play. If Linus Lundtofte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walder Nissum was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Mauritz Ørendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Easy Hauge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauritz Ørendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Træden FV's Dan Løgtved got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mauritz Ørendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagnar Hoborg having to interfere. Vagnar Hoborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walder Nissum in the 66th minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 69th minute when Erhard Porsbo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Easy Hauge's goalkeeper Hans Ryfos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Lundtofte. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mauritz Ørendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Easy Hauge's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauritz Ørendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vagnar Hoborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Træden FV's goalkeeper Vagnar Hoborg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
