In the 6thth minute of the game Ambrosius Emsø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kirkeby's Ebbe Choury was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolai Falkbøll hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ebbe Choury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosius Emsø in the 18th minute of play. Alexander Kerch struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ebbe Choury didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duerne. In the 22nd minute, Alex Kvieholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Henning Hejlsberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Alex Kvieholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ebbe Choury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Detlef Steensbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Arlov having to interfere. Detlef Steensbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosius Emsø struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kirkeby's Detlef Steensbeck in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Justin Arlov was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Duerne through an amazing save. In the 40th match minute, Duerne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Sigvartsen to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes Duerne's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bertram Alseng who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kirkeby's Bertram Alseng to fire away a dangerous shot which Justin Arlov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristjan Clannee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ebbe Choury made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ambrosius Emsø sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosius Emsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ebbe Choury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Alex Kvieholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ebbe Choury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Kirkeby's Henning Hejlsberg tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Justin Arlov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Detlef Steensbeck's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Alexander Kerch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirkeby's Detlef Steensbeck got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Kerch's late challenge caught a Kirkeby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Kerch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute of the match Bertram Alseng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justin Arlov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kristjan Clannee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolai Falkbøll hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ambrosius Emsø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ebbe Choury having to make a save. If Alex Kvieholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ebbe Choury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kvieholm in the 91st minute of play. The Duerne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Duerne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
