An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Holten in the 4th minute of play forced Villumstrup SIK's goalkeeper Jakob Liblik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Spørk took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jakob Liblik. Jakob Liblik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gerner Plon hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Winther Team's zone, Theodor Gurlev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bøje Brøndsel came out of the goal and Theodor Gurlev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt Dolbo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Bøje Brøndsel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villumstrup SIK. In the 23rd minute, Tor Arel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bøje Brøndsel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 29th minute, Winther Team's Gerner Plon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerner Plon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Winther Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerner Plon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 28 minutes into the game, one of Winther Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikkel Damsbøl shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Milton Kjertman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Villumstrup SIK's Niclas Duholm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bøje Brøndsel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villumstrup SIK reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Winther Team's zone, Bengt Dolbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bøje Brøndsel came out of the goal and Bengt Dolbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bøje Brøndsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Arel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Villumstrup SIK's Jakob Liblik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Villumstrup SIK from getting a goal against them. Bøje Brøndsel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theodor Gurlev's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Tor Arel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodor Gurlev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bøje Brøndsel having to make a save. If Theodor Gurlev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bengt Dolbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor Arel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bøje Brøndsel having to interfere. Villumstrup SIK's Theodor Gurlev managed to work through Winther Team's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Theodor Gurlev dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 92ndth minute of the game Theodor Gurlev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winther Team's Bøje Brøndsel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Villumstrup SIK's Theodor Gurlev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bøje Brøndsel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Villumstrup SIK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
