Vanløse BK's Walter Haxfort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ib Kim in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Horsfeld's goalkeeper Gorm Grunbaum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwardt Bessel. Edwardt Bessel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gorm Grunbaum having to interfere. Gorm Grunbaum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfred Russel in the 10th minute of play. If Ib Kim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sigfred Russel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toke Corvil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sigfred Russel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gorm Grunbaum saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gorm Grunbaum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwardt Bessel went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sigfred Russel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Vanløse BK got a freekick which was hit by Toke Corvil. Horsfeld's Ib Kim got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ib Kim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Haxfort having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Horsfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Thettrup to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Edwardt Bessel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanløse BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwardt Bessel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Haxfort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikolai Breson went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Walter Haxfort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ib Kim in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vanløse BK defense, Nikolai Breson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Haxfort. The Vanløse BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Haxfort should have stopped the shot. Sigfred Russel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gorm Grunbaum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfred Russel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Edwardt Bessel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gorm Grunbaum was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Toke Hornung took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walter Haxfort. Vanløse BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ib Kim kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Niels Thettrups short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Walter Haxfort to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Vanløse BK's zone, Ib Kim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Haxfort came out of the goal and Ib Kim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Haxfort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ib Kim in the 97th minute of the match.
