With a little luck, Hesselby SIK's Paw Værgman got control of the ball when Hagbard Grinderslev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olof Dyja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Paw Værgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Tor Parsholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balthazar Geismar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karljohan Wiell in the 12th minute of the match. Hagbard Grinderslevs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Paw Værgman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Sparrevogn FC's Paw Værgman threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olof Dyja, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olof Dyja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paw Værgman having to interfere. Jaspar Harvild kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hesselby SIK's Paul Mylius got a free kick in the 26th minute. Paw Værgman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Dyja in the 27th minute of the match. Paw Værgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Dyja, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Karljohan Wiell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hagbard Grinderslev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paw Værgman having to interfere. Olof Dyja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Hagbard Grinderslev came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sparrevogn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hagbard Grinderslev couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olof Dyja to strike the kick off in the second half. Sparrevogn FC's Hagbard Grinderslev got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sparrevogn FC's Balthazar Geismar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karljohan Wiell in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Albinus Neesgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hesselby SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparrevogn FC the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Hesselby SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albinus Neesgaard to maneuver through the defense. Paw Værgman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Dyja in the 58th minute of the match. Lars Erensø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sparrevogn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hagbard Grinderslev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Olof Dyja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Værgman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Olof Dyja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronnie Parksø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Balthazar Geismar made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Lars Erensø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered loudly when Gerhart Bowman's long shot in the 78th minute became 0-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Balthazar Geismar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Dyja in the 83rd minute of play forced Hesselby SIK's goalkeeper Paw Værgman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hesselby SIK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tor Parsholm hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hesselby SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
