In the 29th minute of the match Bjarke Karlsgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Balthazar Geismar skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sparrevogn FC's zone, Nicklas Eskar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balthazar Geismar came out of the goal and Nicklas Eskar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teddi Skødsbæk got free with Balthazar Geismar in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Asnæs bk booed when Sparrevogn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Bjarnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sparrevogn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Eskar came free, but Balthazar Geismar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Hagbard Grinderslev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennert Rubner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennert Rubner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hagbard Grinderslev in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Sparrevogn FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicklas Eskar to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hagbard Grinderslev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Olof Dyja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hagbard Grinderslev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Dyja in the 83rd minute of play forced Asnæs bk's goalkeeper Lennert Rubner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balthazar Geismar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddi Skødsbæk in the 86th minute of play. When Haakon Ravnsbøl came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Asnæs bk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haakon Ravnsbøl couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Sparrevogn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Rekler to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sparrevogn FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
