The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenni Kirstein got free with Mikkel Holmgreen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Sandfeld was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Kingsway's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

After having played for 53 minutes, Mattias Duedam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fynslund SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Duedam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Kingsway's Kenni Kirstein made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikkel Holmgreen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolf Sandfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkel Holmgreen having to interfere. Kenni Kirstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kenni Kirstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Rolf Sandfeld notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fynslund SIK's Mikkel Holmgreen. Mikkel Holmgreen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Svenne Espelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peder Sohrbeck was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Duedam struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Peder Sohrbeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fynslund SIK. There was no doubt that Kingsway were the better team. Kingsway's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
