Sigismund Lotterup charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uffe Høitbjerg got free with Reinhardt Hellesøe in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willy Palmund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hjaelmen CF booed when Thorsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position.
