Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eigil Paulund took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Andre Lundsvig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Niklaes Giørtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hjortebjerg SIK's Eigil Paulund got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andre Lundsvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Wolfgang Ausra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorglub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolfgang Ausra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Normann was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnfred Vinbæk. The audience was convinced that Eigil Paulund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklaes Giørtz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute Eigil Paulund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklaes Giørtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklaes Giørtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eigil Paulund in the 27th minute of the match. Troels Linnig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eigil Paulund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Hjortebjerg SIK booed when Zorglub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Matz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Zorglub's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Lundsvig came free, but Niklaes Giørtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Aake Rødby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hjortebjerg SIK and the Zorglub players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Aake Rødby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Zorglub's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Lundsvig came free, but Niklaes Giørtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zorglub players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hjortebjerg SIK were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Troels Linnig was the one to do the kick off. Niklaes Giørtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eigil Paulund in the 62nd minute of play. Niklaes Giørtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eigil Paulund, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Andre Lundsvig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Niklaes Giørtz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Troels Linnig in the 76th minute of play forced Hjortebjerg SIK's goalkeeper Erling Normann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Lundsvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklaes Giørtz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andre Lundsvig got free with Niklaes Giørtz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Troels Linnig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorglub's supporters rose to their feet, but Troels Linnig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Normann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolfgang Ausra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troels Linnig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Normann having to make a save. Hjortebjerg SIK's Erling Normann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Ausra in the 97th minute of play.
