When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Olaf Bjørgbak sped through Nidløse FV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hjalmar Haxberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Bjørgbak in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hjalmar Haxberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes Nidløse FV got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Dægman. After 25 played minutes Nidløse FV got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Avnborg. Karim Norlen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Dralle in the 30th minute. Amund Moldkjær took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hjalmar Haxberg. Hjalmar Haxberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, FC Fredericia's Karim Norlen got control of the ball when Egil Dralle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palle Rows's late challenge caught a Nidløse FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palle Rows helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Fredericia! FC Fredericia:s Karim Norlen showed great skill when he stopped Niki Moelsby:s penalty. After the first half FC Fredericia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Bjørgbak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amund Moldkjær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hjalmar Haxberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amund Moldkjær in the 60th minute. Karim Norlen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Aldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Norlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Aldan in the 70th minute of play. With his leg Hjalmar Haxberg managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when FC Fredericia's Amund Moldkjær fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olaf Bjørgbak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Haxberg having to interfere. Nidløse FV's Hjalmar Haxberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Bjørgbak in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Nidløse FV's goalkeeper Hjalmar Haxberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amund Moldkjær. Hjalmar Haxberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Bjørgbak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Fredericia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
