In the 13th minute, George Lybech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikki Frisenvold made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Lybech in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Gernsø saved Stånum AC from getting behind. Hellevad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouritz Hjarborg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Stånum AC got a freekick which was hit by Torkild Lindedam. The Stånum AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stånum AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
